Well, aespa released their 5th mini album, “Whiplash,” on Monday, but this time they are trying something new! Their title track for this album, “Whiplash,” is an EDM-based dance song with a strong, fast-paced bassline and house beats. It’s their first time performing this kind of techno genre. The new album features six tracks in total, showcasing aespa’s diverse music styles. One of the members, NINGNING, commented on the new song saying, “It will only take 5 seconds to make everyone want to dance.” And.. she was correct!
